Speech from the Throne - 1st Reichstag
Their Imperial Majesties have been pleased to confirm the results of the first election to this right honourable Reichstag. Its members have committed their time to working towards a more secure future for the region and Their Majesties are pleased to welcome these new members.
The first order of business is the formal notice that His Royal Highness, the Count of Hohenems will be taking a seat in this Reichstag as a noble member. As Chancellor, he has done vital work in ensuring the success of our region in its first days. Therefore, Their Majesties have been pleased to invite him to form a Government for the coming term. If the members of the Reichstag do not have confidence in Their Majesties chosen head of government, a motion of no confidence may be raised once the President has been elected.
The Reichstag’s President serves as the chairperson of this chamber, and ensures that the internal processes of the chamber are followed. A nomination thread has been opened, and all members of the Reichstag are invited to make nominations for the office within the next twenty-four hours.
His Royal Highness, the Count of Hohenems, as Chancellor, has been in constant dialogue with Their Majesties regarding their Government’s legislative agenda for the coming term, and it encompases a comprehensive Criminal Code, dedicated anti-fascist laws, a law regarding citizenship, the procedures of this chamber, and a law relating to the applying of persona non grata status and other diplomatic regulations.
In addition, Their Majesties plan to introduce proclamations relating to the nobility and the royal family, including their styles.
Their Majesties look forward to the coming term, and hope to see this first Reichstag set a high watermark for future sessions.
Long live the Imperial Crown.
His Imperial Majesty, Simon Kuznetsov, Archduke of Austria, Protector of the Realm and Emperor of All Romans
His Imperial Majesty, Lewis Kuznetsov, King of Hungary, Protector of the Realm and Emperor of All Romans
